TennisCore Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 19, 2026
TennisCore ("we", "our", "the app") does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services. We do not have user accounts, and we do not collect data on our servers.
What the app reads from your device
Contacts (your name only)
If you grant Contacts permission, the app reads the first name from your own contact card so it can greet you on the home screen. This is used locally on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. If you decline permission, the app falls back to your device name (e.g. "Cristian's iPhone" → "Cristian").
Health data (Pro users, Apple Watch)
If you enable workout recording during an Apple Watch match, the app reads your heart rate and writes workout data (duration, calories, distance) to Apple Health on your device. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Match data (local storage and iCloud)
When you score a match, the score and settings are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, this data syncs across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit into your personal iCloud account. We have no access to your iCloud data.
Third-party services
Apple (StoreKit, CloudKit, HealthKit)
Payments, iCloud sync, and Health integration are handled by Apple. Their use of data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status. RevenueCat assigns your device an anonymous identifier that cannot be linked to you personally. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
External links
The app includes an in-app browser for reading the official ITF Rules of Tennis from itftennis.com. Your use of that site is governed by their privacy practices, not ours.
What we do not do
- We do not collect your email, phone number, or account information.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
Children's privacy
TennisCore does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the effective date above will change.
